Our Favorite Recipes

These are some of our favorites and the tried and true recipes work in the dishes we make. Our very favorite is the use for the deep dish pie plate. It doesn't matter if you make it for brunch, lunch or dinner, the reviews are always the same ... terrific!

Spaghetti Cheese Pie

1 16 oz. package of spaghetti
3/4 - 1 lb. bacon
1 1/2 c. onions, chopped
12 oz. sliced mushrooms
4 eggs
1 c. milk
pepper to taste
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Spaghetti Cheese Pie

Cook and drain spaghetti as label directs. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile, in large skillet, saute bacon, remove from skillet; drain off all but 3 T. drippings; add onions and mushrooms, brown lightly. Break bacon into 1" pieces.

Arrange cooked spaghetti in the stoneware deep dish pie plate. Top with the mushroom and onion mixture then arrange the bacon on top. In a medium bowl, beat eggs slightly; beat in milk, pepper, Worcestershire, stir in cheese. Pour over spaghetti. Top with a handful of bread crumbs, if desired. Bake for about 45 minutes.
