If you have ever used stoneware pottery pieces for cooking or baking, serving, storing or just as a dinner plate, you probably already know some of its properties.

For serving, wow, what an awesome look and if you have baked in it and take it directly to the table, it'll help keep your food hot longer. Once the stoneware gets hot, it stays hot. As you look at some of our pieces, you will wonder, geez, can you really put that bowl in the oven -- absolutely! The only thing you cannot do with stoneware is put a frozen item (such as a chicken filet) on hot stoneware. If you do put something frozen on HOT stoneware you run the risk of cracking the stone.

All of our pieces are hand painted and hand glazed by Susan and signed with her signature which is Sus (pronounced Suz). The colors and glazes are lead free and are food safe. Moose makes the vast majority of the pottery and does all the firing. He uses all the safeguards to ensure that each pottery piece is fired to the proper temperature to protect our customers. It is extremely important to us to keep our customers safe and we take great pride in the fact that all our pottery is made right in Western New York..
