Stoneware Garlic Roaster
There is nothing like roasted garlic! It is gaining popularity, which makes this roaster a must for every kitchen. My recipe for roasted garlic is to cut the very top off a head of garlic. Drizzle liberally with some olive oil (or your choice of oil) and season with some salt and pepper. Put the lid on the roaster and place in a cold oven. Bring the oven to 350 with the roaster in place and bake for about 35 - 45 minutes. The head of garlic will caramelize and get really sweet! Yum!
This is a terrific appetizer over any kind of French bread or baguette which has first been drizzled with a little olive oil or flavored oil. When you have some roasted garlic left over, or had the foresight to make extra, it's awesome in mashed potatoes, over steamed green beans, in pasta sauces, in soups, or salad dressings. The uses are endless! Enjoy!

Garlic Roasters are used to roast a head of garlic. There is a vent hole in the top so it doesn't get soggy. The inside of both the top and bottom are glazed for easy clean up.
Garlic Roasters measure 4"from the bottom to the bulb top and the bottom container is 4 3/4" across. The price is $18.95. |
